I feel like I’ve been waiting for this adventure for forever

Not only have I dreamed of going to Paris since I was a little girl, but having the chance to take part in such an exclusive and famous event like the International Film Festival and live in Cannes is truly a once in a life opportunity.

I’ve been dreaming of what the next three weeks of my life will be like, and no matter that happens, it’ll be three weeks that I will never forget. The International Film Festival isn’t ready for me, it isn’t ready for Princess Jazmyn. I’ve spent the last few days running around trying to get it together in order to make sure that I kill it at work, network like no other, and strut down the red carpet.

STEP ONE: New hair, who dis

Special shoutout to Renee Marcoux and M Beaute Bar for always helping ya girl look and feel her best.

STEP TWO: Find Red Carpet Dresses

Probably the hardest part of this entire process, but I can’t wait to show you my finals picks and post from the red carpet!!

If I want to look my best, I have to feel my best. My mom, sister and I tried a Salt Therapy treatment which was definitely a new(?) experience.

STEP FOUR: Cinco de Mayo!!

Had to go out and have a night of fun with friends and family to say good bye before I left. Also, never say no to a chance to eat tacos.

STEP FIVE: Pretend like one suitcase is enough to carry my entire life

LOL because I ended up needing two. I had all intentions of only taking one suitcase from Florida to Michigan and then to France, but after stopping at home and picking up a few last minute additions, I ended up having to borrow a suitcase from my parents.

With all of that said and done, I’m here at the airport, ready to go. Armed with all three of my cameras (yes, I really did pack three), my phone, a stack of business cards, and a fierce attitude, I am ready to take France by storm.

Ready or not, here I come.
