If and when it’s meant to be, it’ll be.
I’m a firm believer in karma, fate, and all the other powers that be.
Everything in life happens for a reason. If one door closes, it’s so another can open and lead you down another path. When you meet someone new, they’re there to teach you a new lesson.
Have you ever met someone and it was clear that on some level the two of you belonged together? As lovers, friends, or family? You just work together and you understand one another whether you’re in love or partners in crime. You meet these people throughout your life, out of nowhere, and in the strangest ways and they make you feel alive.
When it comes to the topic of love, I don’t believe in just one true love. I think that one can fall in love with multiple people throughout their lifetime, but there might be one love that is more meaningful than the rest. If you really love someone, you’ll never be able to stop loving them. You may meet the love of your life in junior high or in your junior year of college. You may meet the love of your life in the grocery store or in the street.
While your feeling for someone can be all powerful, none of that matters if the timing isn’t right. It can be so difficult to let go of someone that you’ve established a connection with, but if it’s meant to be that this is the person you’ll spend your life with, one day you’ll find your way back to each other.
It might not be in a year, or even in 10 years, but two souls who are meant to be together will find a way to be together.
“And think not that you can direct the course of love; for love that finds you worthy directs your course.”
If and when it’s meant to be, it will be.
